Wedding Bells

Lovely day for the Royal Wedding, and that dress was amazing the hand embroidered whitework on the bottom of the dress was particulaly beautiful along with the vail. Good luck to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate and William. I only really wanted to post this Image as the little bridesmade is so cute!

Collecting Bric-a-Brac

Yesterday i went to Whaley Bridge and the childrens hospice charity shop was having a closing down sale and i managed to bag myself some cheap yet beautiful Bric-a-Brac. At 10p a pop i couldnt help myself cant wait to get upcycling.

Sue Rider

In work on Wednesday 27th i changed the displays again as they had been the same since the wednesday before, and sadly the holiday inspired display had to come down and needed a change. I went for a classic mix of vintage bits and popped in a little Royal glasswear (the royal wedding was on its way) In fact it was today and the service was lovely I might add.

We also decided to get some of the lovely old books out on the shop floor.

In one of the cookery books I was putting out i had a flick through and it was full of odd scraps of recipies and doodles, they were so lovely i had to photograph all the bits i dont know if i will ever find a use for the images but i knew i couldnt let them leave the shop without me having a little piece.

Bunting

Bunting making. I could make bunting all day, and the worse thing is you dont actually ever need to stop. I think there can never be too much! This bunting is double sided all made from my favorite collected materials.
